Wiki Needs Updating???

Ok so i realize that the wikis can be changed by anyone at any time, so i shouldn't be surprised if the info is wrong. I'm trying to finish off my fishing credo but the thing im struggling with the most is bass. I need it. I need 2 of them. The wiki says it can be found in the ocean. The wiki also states that eels can be found in fresh water sources, i.e. lakes and rivers. So imagine my confusion when i fish up not one, but two eels in the ocean. Am i missing something? I cant seem to find bass in the ocean like the wiki states, is the wiki misleading me or am i unlucky, or am i missing something obvious?

Well wiki is largely outdated, go and update it.

Especially fishings is a mysterious thing that requires lot of work to figure out how to get all fishes etc.

I don't have enough info to update it, i was hoping that the wiki might have been helped by moderators that can give concrete data.

The wiki is kept updated by the community. It needs more editors. It's not managed by the devs or moderators.

As of last world, I found bass in the ocean and eels in both freshwater and ocean for fisher's credo. Not sure if that's still the case; still haven't done it this world.

As far as the fish, yes, some of the fish species can be found both fresh and salt water. Eel and Bass are the two examples you provided. I believe Salmon is another, and seems like one or two more.

You have access to as much information as anyone else in this game. The devs hoard data like a chipmunk hoards acorns. (Is that too racist against chipmunks?)
