What do you do with Quarryartz?

So the new and improved Quarryman Credo, gives a "Chance to dig out Quarryartz Stone". I've found one, but it didn't unlock anything new to me. Also can't be put in smelters

I don't think it's just "another useless stone", because it would be a very very bad reward for a credo, especially being the reward of its final stage.

Any clues?

We have found quarryartz significantly higher quality than any other stonetype. All of our stone axes are made from it.

Might just be a higher tending quality distribution from other rocks.

That hasn't been our experience so far. It was slightly higher than the stone we were mining, but nothing worth noting.

a VERY small range of being able to know when there's an ore near the mined tile, without any direction, but with a nice loud ping in your system messages

Based on my limited experience I think Quarryartz isn't capped by your tool Q - not sure about Masonry skill. Though that could always be a bug

Definitely still our highest rock consistently through 4 layers of cave. Uncapped by tool was a theory our miner floated.

Either way the rock itself doesn't have any special property.

Definitely affected by tool (same spot -- different results from high quality axe vs basic pickaxe).

But assuming it is softcapped like the rest of the stone --- the quality is abnormally high. Almost like it's not capped by masonry.

Either way -- it's our main (only) source of axe upgrades since completing the credo.

i havent found them too be of higher quality. i´ve mined q 18 quarryarts out of q 70 stone and other shenanigans, my theory they have there own nodes wich are possibly larger. to this day i havent found quarryartz better than my axe . so i can´t talk about softcapps
