Yup. That was it. Brazier being empty doesn't mean you can move it, apparently.

It's actually still "burning" and you can put coal on it to light it up again (without need of a firebrand or lit torch.)

Well, technically it's not "burning" in the sense that you cannot light a torch off of it. I'm familiar with the heat mechanic otherwise, it's just the first time that I tried to relocate one while still heated.
