How long does it take until a human skeleton decays and despawns?

I dint need to know exact numbers. Just if it is about hours, days or weeks.

flesh to normally skeleton takes about 24 hours
in water the entire thing will despawn between 0 seconds and 20 minutes
skeletons never despawn, but they do take decay hits eventually if they aren't on claim(I think?)
