surprised nobody has mentioned that trees dont reduce hunger any more

It doesn't, just checked it.

To add to this, you also unlock the stack furnace before you discover leather. Some things just get unlocked before you have the requisite discoveries.

Piles of rocks as soil fill when leveling ground. Is this new?

No, it works with ore too I believe so you have to be careful when stockpiling it near where you are landscaping.

Has anyone found a Peculiar Flotsam yet? I am at the Per*Exp that I should be seeing all of them at maximal efficiency but have yet to see one. last world i would find them like every 10 minutes of sailing.

Wondering if they changed the requirements to seeing them.

Don't think anything changed with Flotsams, found like 4 after a few hours of sailing.

I haven't butchered any big animals yet but I wonder if this is the case with big animals.

I'm positively sure it applies to all animals, no matter the size. I've hunted foxes, beavers, swans, wolverines, etc. Tool q applied to them all.
