I'm trying to build a level 2 mine. I lit the Mini Pure, waited 24 hours, the fire went out. but I can't build a mine below. Writes that the floor is too hard. Help me figure it out.

Get more STR, get better quality mining tool.

yes you need more strength, not sure why it lets you place the fire in that area since you can't mine down, but it does..

If you set a new fire 10 tiles away you may be able to break down in that area with your current Strength.

it gives a warning when you place it in the system tab if its to hard beneath. Some people still do it cause they know their str will be high enough by the time the fire is done or have a buddy that can dig down there, taking away the possibility to plant it because someone did not pay attention would be meh =/
