Cant find basic resources.

I'm sure this has a very simple answer that is just eluding me. I'm new to the game and am struggling with a few of the basic resources. I cant find blueberries or chanterelles anywhere. I have searched a very large area of the map looking for them over a large range of biomes. My per*exp should be more than high enough. Are these things seasonal or maybe regional? I cant seem to find any information other than they can be found in forests and grasslands which I have searched heavily. Thank you in advance for any help i receive on this topic.

Forageables are seasonal. Blueberries and Chanterelles will show up during summer, we're currently in spring.
