How do I make a roasting spit?

I believe I have all the materials - three logs of wood, two strings, and five sticks - but can't seem to find the option to make a spit after looking through all the Crafting sections (including the one the wiki mentions, Odds and Ends). Is there a prerequisite skill? I spent points on Carpentry because the wiki mentions that the quality of the spit is softcapped by the carpentry skill, but couldn't see anything. Do I need to get my cooking skill up? I have Hunting.

Do you have Firecrafts? It was recently added and may be required to make a Roasting Spit.

It worked, and even gave a quest objective for it. Should have scoured those skills more to get the clue ... thank you very much.
