Plowed field turning to other biomes

I have a fully plowed field surrounded by 1 tile wide pavement in all four sides. Still sometimes the biomes outside are spreading into my fields. What am I doing wrong?

probably some trees are growing close to it, generating new tiles as it grows

Modifying the terrain, even in small ways, might affect biome spreading. Ensure that your pavement or any other modifications are not unintentionally facilitating the spread.

I think this is the answer. There is a planted tree right outside the pavement.

Yeah, trees spread the forest biome around them when growing (which is a good thing btw, trees grow faster on forest biome compared to other biomes).
