Light a fireplace question

I have been trying to light a fireplace with a light fire with two branches thing. I cannot do it.
I can light a normal fire with this method, but when I try with a fireplace (the thing that is called Pow if you inspect it) nothing happens. I tried with clicking on the stones and inner it is the same.
I am using 3 fir blocks for fuel, although the fuel meter and heat meter say 0.

Good thing is I got the carrying light from long lasting firebrand from all my attempts.

Anyway can anyone offer advice thank you.

Pick up the log with left click, then right click campfire. It will show up visually and add the log to the fuel meter. Then firebrand as usual to light it up.

All "workstations" with a fuel meter must have the fuel (irreversibly) inserted by grabbing it on cursor and Right-Clicking it there. (Alternatively, can use a Wheelbarrow to dump it.)
Fireplace inventory is primarily meant for cooking stuff like...

You can put woodblocks there to turn them into Ashes. I've seen at least one other person have the exact same issue on some Discord channel.
