Problem with playing from Russia

It's not always convenient for me to turn on the vpn on Windows entirely, so it would be much more convenient to register the address in the game settings. I tried changing conf/net.properties, but it didn't help much, I could only download the client, but I couldn't play. Is there an option to add proxy settings to the client?

I play by adding the Haven server address to "zapret"
I play with the Haven server address added to the "ban" section.

I know about this method, but i thought that maybe there is a way to play through changing JAVA settings, otherwise why there are proxy setting in conf file? It would be more convinient to me.
