Green Ooze

I destroyed some loose rocks and now a green ooze is unleashed in my mine and I'm not a good enough fighter to get rid of it. What do I do?

wait for despawn is the easiest, 20-30 min of that area not being loaded should suffice.

there is an ooze detergent recipe, but crafting it requires a very large amount of resources and time investment :(
