It was lord of shadows who killed him and they didn't just decide out of the blue to spend half a day camping a ram to kill some random hermit, they did it because Zox teamed up with ainran and killed their allies. Somehow I don't think the "retribution" mentioned in OP is to do with clay prices.

Great houses were angry at Zox because he supplied clay to ryleh/ainran but not them. It's clear which side Zox picked in this war, and it is clear why he got raided, how you can say it is not related to Ainran is just baffling.

You clearly did not follow the thread. It was us that called the alliance into life, because Zox had killed someone. Sure the other parties may have had Ainran related interests, but our common denoninator was the RMT stuff and free clay.

@the images: You guys trying to bend the new "rules" now with that? Cause it doesn't work like that. Just type what you have to say...

Will you be actively hunting down RMT players now?

TBH i'm kinda worried about the game
on the real though. Big players kill one
another and sometimes quit. Little guys
get wiped out and quit. I'm getting a
bit worried about that dwindling online
count.

Perhaps we should all agree to not kill
anyone EXCEPT for each other? <3

I think it is more of the RMT extortion that pushed the event forward as it is probably more about the town safety now that it was almost as if the decision was made for them. If Zox hadn't threatened then, I am not sure that they would have initiated this. Would LoS and GH discover and band together? It would be a nice alternate storyline but unfortunate we've progressed too far into this to turn the page back.

I am not sure if it is this is feasible as it dwindles the population from the outside. If there is a story to be made, it might make something more eventful but killing for the sake of killing is (in my opinion) bland. As for the matters of newbies; I think, we are aware the cause of this because he very difficult it is to even get started into the game that the bare necessity of stone is not available nearby (sadly we got feathers instead).

@Burg. The image texting isn't going to last forever since it will be detrimental run due to practicality and tedium. It takes more effort to make individual post with picture text (find picture, type text in picture, copy picture, upload to imgur. copy image link, paste image link, code tag it, multiply by number of response or post) than to simply type it out, not to mention it intereferes with Nao's posting style so he won't do it. From what I know they are making of point of something but what it is, I am not fully certain.

I was under the impression any potential rules being put in place against images was to prevent offtopic single image posts, not images that are on topic which Joles and Rye have done. Furthermore I woud like to raise the point that rules shouldn't be enforced that are not contained within the Rules since then there would be ambiguity in what is/isn't allowed unless all posters are up to date with the moderation thread.

If it was on my decision, the images could stay since it is on topic; the one Nao posted is acceptable as well. I would still advise against it on grounds of tedium on the poster's end, though. But I think we're drifting off topic. If we want to discuss more about the recent picture enforcement, we can take this to the plea for moderation thread. Thank you.

The lack of civility that has occured over the past 10 pages or so is not related to what's transpired these past 2 pages, you must be daft to think otherwise. The context of that quote was after the thread had heated up and heated down in the few pages prior. Most of the tone of the conversation changed when MS brought up Ainran for the nth time.

Also I made a post in the moderation thread here to redirect conversation about single image replies so we can keep that discussion seperate from here.

Burgingnub why are you trying to claim all the credit? all I see is LoS in the video and the alliance between LoS/GH/Brodgar existed long before you decided you didnt like Zox. I'm fairly certain LoS doesnt share your peacekeeping motivations, in fact it seems kind of absurd to me that you even call to them for help, it's like asking Hitler to help you catch a jew.

I didn't know you were such an anti-semite Burg.
