Raze their town and salt the earth. If people lived with them choose better friends.

In two villages of two unrelated factions. At the same moment.

Nice thinking!

To be fair, it's not beyond the realms of possibility, the raiding faction could have spies in lots of villages simultaneously and picked a time to raid them all ..... however it does sound suspicious.

If it is a bug that has been abused this seems an ideal solution to me;

Why did you post this? When is it from? I'm assuming it's not relevant seeing as how everyone has ignored it, still, I'm curious.

It isn't real. The tinder drill thing gives it away ;)

I'd say salting any connected idols along with deleting any characters related to bugabusery (considering it was one, it's dev's work to determine) would be fair.
There is a possible case when all this abuse was done on combat alts, but I would suggest deleting characters who took a hold onto loot and/or was logged on from the same IP as the alt accounts.

On the other hand, that's just wet justice dreams, most likely devs won't do shit except maybe nuking some palisaded shithole where attackers left their alts.

I

We did not have spies in our village, that's a fact.

Anyway, I think the really important thing that's being decided here is whether players will report abusable bugs in the future. If abuse is punished, it's best to report and get a cape at least. If it's not, the rational choice is to save your bugs for wiping out enemies. It's obvious which one is better for decreasing the bug count.

Fairly high risk of getting raided by the same bug discovered later by others.

A lensman arms race with bug abuse is not something you want to see in a commercial game, though.
