"Whisper" quest never comes

This is on completely new characters. If you have bought a credo by the time you should be getting the whisper on the wind, you've spent 0 LP on anything else.

I am not fresh char. I've changed my place of living, cancelled all my quests and waiting for the whisper in the winds from the questgivers of new places.
There is 4+ days and i got nothing.
I only have 1 credo quest (which is waiting for pepper harvest)

I was suspecting there was a mistype somewhere and waited before gaining 100k LP on a new char. Got quite some over that, still no whispers.

Feels nice and quiet, I am sane and don't hear whispering trees. But contradicts what patch notes say.

We aren't talking about the intro starter quests, we are talking about the first quest; which is the same exact 'whisper on the winds' quest you are referring to. It is currently broken and the only way to get a real quest is doing a Commune with Nature.

Yeah, not really sure what Jorbtar did but the first quest is 100% broken. I've made multiple characters and they never get the quest, no matter what I try.

It will never give you the first quest regardless of your skills and LP. You have to spend 2000 XP and Commune with Nature if you want to start getting quests.

Really hope they will fix this soon, because 2k LP on a new character is 20-40 new discoveries worth of LP.

Somewhat related, but on an alt who didn't manage to complete her whisper quest before it failed due to the questgiver being "killed", no tree or stone quests ever appeared on her again.

Do I have to make her get a credo, use commune with nature, or just wait?

The time between losing/abandoning quests was greatly increased. It was taking just a few minutes (10, 15 tops?) previously. How much play time has it been since this?

I played infrequently on that alt since the patch Jelly Kebab.

Edit: Disregard that, I logged that alt on to do some wood cutting and within an hour she got a whisper again.

Yesterdays patch fixed this bug. The 'Whisper on the Wind' now works properly again.
