Troll destroyed my corpse

My character died in fights with troll and thats ok. But what about destroing my corpse after that? Is that game mechanic or a bug?
I want to burry my corpse =(

Imagine seeing a corpse equipped with melee gear and thinking they abused mechanics fighting a melee creature with melee.

Are you even serious? Trolls are so bugged, causing caveins without a reason.
It is safer to abuse them, rather than fair fight and be littered with rock.


Regarding the thread itself - it's a known old bug, still not fixed. If you run away being focused by troll, and your bud blocks his path - troll causes cavein.
Regarding body destroying - not a bug, any animal can do it, if it blocks path. You should definitely consider wider area for troll fight.

The fact that it is safer to abuse things does not justify doing so , and i don't really understand why developers don't fix things like :

* Using boar spear with quick barrage skill on land/boat to hit water/land animals from distance they cant reach you
* Mammoth/Animal palisade traps
* Using cliffs/cave entrances to get battle advantage
* Shooting the bow and exiting/entering through minehole to kill trolls easily
* Animals stop fleeing if you reaggro them
