Losing Numen Points for Turning in the Asked for Item?

Postby scurvylouse » Sat Dec 07, 2024 6:09 pm

I am doing numen quests to "Lament the Departed" right now and logged in this morning to continue toward my goal. I had 12 numen points at log on and needed 13 to perform the Prayer. The quest asked me for Corn Grass Flour as the main item, which i grabbed and turned in to the shrine.
I then went to Ancestral Worship and tried to perform the prayer and it said I didn't have enough numen points. I know about the bug where if you have been doing numen quests and ancestral worship, that sometimes the increase in numen points is not reflected in the worship sub-menu, but this was not the case.
I had 12 points when I logged on and after turning in the quest had 11. Upon noticing this, I turned in the next ask for the quest and sure enough, now I have 10 points. Mildly irksome to say the least. Especially at levels 10 and up, the items asked for can be difficult to acquire.
Any assistance is appreciated!
