is there a fix? I restart game and it works for a tiny bit then stops working.

Try to press space twice (this should hide and unhide the UI), does it fix it?

That didn't seem to help, I just restart my game and it works for about 2 minutes... Rinse and repeat!

I'm going to bump this because me and some other people aswell are still getting this problem.

The overlay? The main HUD, you mean?

i think he means any thing like buttons stuff on the mini map only hotkeys work and clicking to move all other Ui functions cease to work during this bugged state ive only had it happen a few times thank god and randomly at that gathering stuff :/

This happens to me many times too. You cant click on any of the UI elements. Such as running speed, chat, or attribute window. It might be linked to stuff like digging/terraforming/laying stone on ground.

Ah, that one I have on my list. Will look at fixing if that is the case.
