My claim has been mine for a really long time. Since i owned it on my original character. I died a long time ago but the claim was still mine. Now the claim is no longer walkable by me or anyone i've given privileges too. Help all my food is in there.

are you sure its still yours claim? if someone took your bond - after 96h in study, claim of bond become their's

It would appear that you are suffering from the cruel fate discussed in this thread. Someone else has taken your Bond of Blood & Soil from your dead character, studied it, and now owns the claim, presumably without the slightest clue as to where it is.

The best I can offer is: build a battering ram and take down the claim.

Well Jorb I think you should make it so if a claim is taken from someone else it is reset as being a new claim. So that my village can remove the claim. It makes sense that someone can take the claim, but my village cant remove it because it was there first. However, simply making it count as a brand new claim as soon as its reclaimed is a wise thing to do. I know the village cant declaim older claims to prevent stealing stuff using a vclaim but it really should be able to remove stolen claims. This all could've been prevented if the wiki was updated lmao

Thats just a suggestion. Seeing as my village has had priority much longer than the new guy has on my claim it makes sense the village can remove the claim since it is almost like removing an old claim and adding a new one. IDK it makes sense to me to have my village able to remove it since the guy took the claim after the village was established.

Its just really weird to have a claim inside a village that doesnt belong to anyone in the village and no one in the village has power to remove. I think the declaim lawspeakers can do needs to have more authority. Or maybe when trading claims you must actually bring the bond to the idle to renew it after being traded to make it official. But this guy has no clue where the bond is or anything he just has the bond and cant access it. Even if he knew where it was it is still fully protected by a pallisade and a Vclaim. Just my opinion that it should be changed a little. I have no problem farming curios untill i can get theft or vandalism to take my stuff out but still its kinda weird how that works. Also my Hearthfire is within a house inside the claim i was wondering if i went to it if i'd be stuck in the house or what would happen.

So what are you gunna do Jorb and Loftar? Leave it how it is or maybe take time to consider a slight change in how trading claims works? Let me know before i spend 50k LP on trespassing and vandalising
