Tamed animals cannot be hitched to posts

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

Tamed animals cannot be hitched to posts

I can't tether my animals to spare hitching posts.

It doesn't let me do it.
The ones that are filled, tell me that they are being used.

Anyone else?

I do not understand the report. What do you mean "spare hitching posts"? "The ones that are filled"?

Could you describe a step by step process from hitching the animal and onward.

Sorry for not being clear. Spare are ones not being used.

My animal are running a muck and can leashing them to a rope. It's fine, they follow.

Until I get the to hitching post. It won't let me tether them to the post.

On some I can tether but it says that it's being occupied.

I have 2 sheep.
3 Cows, 2/bulls and 1female
1 boar and one piggy

I also have 9 hitching posts.

So you cannot leash these animals to empty hitching posts?

Have there been animals hitched to these posts previously?

If you build a new hitching post, can you use that?

Probably because wild animals were once on them and then I used different ones after they were tamed.

I have no tried that but will do.

No, I cannot use new posts.

It says it's being used. Just after making it.

Oh.... really? Are you sure the animal isn't actually hitched, then? I mean... that sounds extremely strange.

I get some rope for the sheep and come back and its being used.

What if, it's for the babies that haven't been born yet?
