I put a flotsam on last night before i went to bed and a bluebell about a day ago and i log on to them not saying how much longer left or anything yet still sitting in my study and its been a good 8 hours after i put
the flotsam on so i know something is up with that.

it might be goin through or in the middle of it but its just not showing or you started to study something and the recent patch messed it up

did you put on int gear, or drink something that buffs your int and then put in curios and then have your int drop via the buff ending or switching to non int gear?

did you get a concussion etc that lowers your int?

curios will pause if you have less than enough int to study everything in your study.

did you have others in your inventory and are using a client that has auto study on?

if not, then maybe it is an issue

No they don't, which is why I use int gear to put in curio.

you can search for more topics like this one from the beginning of world 8 where its stated that your curio will pause till you have the attention needed to study it, correct me if thats changed back since then but maybe next time be less hostile and less of a dick

if you still dont believe me spawn and alt put int gear on it put moose antlers in his study then take off the gear come back and tell me im wrong when the antlers finish

I literally had an alt with 15 int that was studying items bigger than 15 weight, ie. ivory figurines, bear teeth. And no, I didn't keep the int gear on. It got over 100 surv in a couple weeks with that 15 base int. I only just fed it yesterday, its int is much higher now.

Maybe the functionality was reversed?
