Visitor Debuff & Tanning Tub

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

Visitor Debuff & Tanning Tub

1) You get the Visitor debuff if you enter a Cave with the entrance claimed, but it's not removed once you exit.
2) My tanning tub had not enought concentration to make the 4 leathers, did make one and stuck the others at 99%, then I did try to add 3 bark, the first 2 went in, the 3rd one doesn't, it instead pretend I want to make a stockpile, like I can't add any more bark, the problem is that the water is still clean so the remaining 99% doesn't want to get to 100%

1. Not sure what's your problem with the first one.
2. Add more water? The amount of water in the tub might not be enough to finish the leather

1. The problem is that the Visitor Debuff is only applied once you travel through a gate on a claimed area, not when you enter a cave, and it should be removed when you leave the area, but it remains.
2. There was 50% of water in the tanning tub

It's not enough. The sprite changes when the amount of water and % strength is sufficient. The 1/4 items used up a tiny bit of the liquid to make it slightly less than 50%, ie. not enough to tan the last bit.

Solution: fill tanning tubs up more at the start for split tanning loads, or add a bit extra at the end.

This is nonsense...why should it stop at less than 50% and not at 0%?

A made up answer to this could be: the hide isn't fully submerged anymore.

Yeah, I'm sure we can make up some quasi-logical reason as to why a tub has to be more than half full to tan a hide.

As far as the first issue, it was updated so that entering a claim through any entrance would give the visitor flag. It was possible to have people enter a claim through mineholes and such and then abuse the fact they didn't have a visitor flag.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Okay, but the bug is that when leaving the claim through the same entrance, you keep visitor flag!

You gain the buff by teleporting into a claim (cave, minehole, charter) or traversing a gate on it - it goes away when leaving the claimed area.

As I said, even if you leave, you keep the buff, that's the bug
