Drowned on land

Postby kapytanhook » Sat Jan 14, 2017 6:41 pm

I was walking around on land, had a bit of lag as I walked close to the water, then I saw my dude swimming on land, tried moving. It wouldn't let me back on land and I drowned :/

I think you had swimming toggled on, then you lagged, and you accidently walked into the water during the lagg, giving the swimming emotes, and you drowned.

I figured the same, so i gave it a rest.

But I went back to the same spot on the map with swimming toggled off. and as I was walking on land it kept blocking me and saying 'you need swimming enabled...'.
Looks to me like there is something wrong with that patch of land.
I forgot to take a screenshot as i wanted to recover my stuff first, also it looked like the body was still floating even though it was about 10 squares inlands.

Can confirm this bug = sometimes there's literally invisible lines of deep water in some places that you can't cross without turning swimming on.

I have noticed also small lines of deep water on the shallow water ....but not on land.....this could be really a big problem if it happens on lands also....oh god, W10 is so beautiful, why?

Thankfully I had just started, not much lost. Maybe he can fix it, it seems to just be a few broken tiles.

If you can come back at that location....make an alt and leave him there, and write here his name.... so Loftar can track that location
