Consistently low quest rewards compared to other people

Postby NotJimmy97 » Sun Jan 15, 2017 5:37 am

I've done somewhere around 30 quests on this character, and I've never once made more than 500LP from any single quest-giver. There have been no exceptions, which leads me to believe this might actually be a significant result.

Is there anything that might account for this? Or am I just terribly unlucky?

Need some information about what quests you've done. According to loftar, they're deterministic, so if you're getting relatively simple quests, you're going to get relatively low rewards.

Other than that, the system seems screwy and more random than anything.

There seems to be no correlation. I've done hard quests w/ stat-boost requirements and multiple steps, w/ quest-givers separated far away. No big bonuses :(

I think there is a bias in that people who get big rewards for random quests tend to report on them, and those who get bad rewards do not say anything.

I think you have not to worry....pretty sure that Loftar has put in some system where the average gain from the quests is more or less the same for everybody...so if you are very lucky to get a lot of LP from 1 single quest probably you'll get very bad rewards for a lot of the next quest you'll do....so that the average reward is pretty much the same for everyone.

I got 15k LP from one quest, and then 8k LP for another with few quests inbetween. I think the quests are completely random. Sometimes you get 50 exp, sometimes you get unspoken treasures and most of the time everithing that lies inbetween.

Sure, just like the balance they've put on other systems, too, right?

There is actually very little randomness in quest rewards, so if anything some idea as to what quests you've done could be something. Would also like to see examples of quests where people got a lot from a single quest.
