Help! Claim is broken!

Postby apoc254 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 3:06 pm

Okay.... so I don't know the cause of it, but our small community's claim suddenly is not owned by anyone and all the claim still exists.... however, all our hearth fires are on the claim and due to its ownership being changed to nobody.... we are all trapped on our own claim!

Please help jortbtar!

Strongly suspecting user error. Who owned the claim? What happened to that person?

Requesting significantly more info.

The claim owner is a character named Shadow. He hasn't been on in 4ish days, but gave me his login info to check if permissions were changed. He does not have a claim in his study anymore.

That's all I know. Now all 6 of us are permanently trapped on this ownerless claim.

if a claims bond of blood & soil is studied for 3 days it transfers ownership to the person that studied it

so assuming somebody stole the claim from shadow somehow. You can be trapped in your own hearthfire for all eternity by taking a claim?

I can handle my character dieing forever, but being alive and well and unable to move. That's a pretty broken game mechanic.

Perhaps, but it's not entirely obvious what the alternative would be. If you can smash your Hearthfire and block your log out position you can probably force a wilderness spawn.

Shadow has, I would suspect, either given away, or accidentally misplaced the claim bond.
