Battery scent bug, it is possible to fix.
I do have the battery scent but I can't send nidbane due to lack of character rage, he somehow changed between characters whit alts, this shouldn't be possible or totally exclude this nidbane crap.

If you were on his claim, he didn't need rage to aggro you.

I heard that this change with the need to have the rage skill was made as a result of spam with newly created characters

Do you perhaps have any permissions set to White on your personal claim? If someone has all 4 permissions they are allowed to attack people on the claim, and White permissions apply to all people, even people you don't have kinned.

Theres no extra permissions, all I can tink about is : he did the Smell of Assault whit one character whitch you cant summon upon and beated me up whit another whitch don't have rage (again can't summon nidbane) special made only for fighting...

Doesn't that make nidbanes kinda useless for the peaceful defendant?

Well you might as well buy rage, just don't use it to kill sprucecaps. Having no requirements for nidbanes is prone to abuse and buying rage has 0 downsides nowadays.
