I'm sorry for making you feel ignored, but I'm not sure how to debug a problem like this without being able to reproduce it myself. One thing that would probably help is if you could get a stacktrace of the client while it's running. VisualVM is one tool for doing that.

Also, I assume that you, by "Windows 9", in fact mean Windows 10. I have heard other reports about graphics bugs on Windows 10, and while I don't use Windows myself and thus don't know all the details, I'm aware that Microsoft has completely redesigned the graphics stack in Windows 10, and that the video card manufacturers have thus had to rewrite their drivers as well. I hear on the rumor mill that some of those drivers are still sub-par, so I wouldn't be all to surprised if it's related to that.

I didn't get my update somehow, so no, I mean windows 9. I'll run it next time cause currently I'm running the game somewhat fine. Meanwhile I could direct you to the other 2 threads where this issue has been brought to light (one reaching 6 pages and only being told to post it in an 'official form') and I believe several people have actually posted more than what I've posted.

I see.

Do you get the black screen immediately upon client startup, or only after login?

After login. I think it's stuck between loading my character selection and the actual login because it keeps ticking time.

Windows 7 64bit
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

I also have the black screen problem, here is a snapshot (I hope this is what you meant by stack trace)

Is it a correct observation that everyone with this problem is using an AMD video card?

I have no idea what kind of file that is. :)

A stack trace looks similar to a Java error report. It's a list of functions called on each thread.
