Do people not understand the term 'Eternal Alpha" ??

Cry more please.. there is going to be bugs, and some of them will kill you. You take the risk, whether you like it or not, and if you die, tough luck.

Nothing short of you character simply being deleted somehow will cause devs to revive anyone for any reason.. i doubt they even have a way to revive a player other than rolling the server back, which would fuck over every other player.

Whatever else, this will never ever happen again. It caused a huge mess last time it was attempted and the devs have since vowed to never touch rezzing again.

What happens months in from now when advanced chars happen to die to this? "oh sorry?"

no, it's your bugs crashing your incomplete game, hell, most of us know now you have been so lazy as to not even put stats on most items, until someone actually builds one and complains! lol.

incomplete game, your bugs, paying customer, this is your problem.

The game hasn't even been out a month yet. Of course its incomplete.

Eternal Alpha or not, this is basic customer service. I guess paying customers get no service unless its getting loved for "I subbed" threads or giving pras for updates.

Reading a lot of excuses for a permadeath game, any other game sure, but losing months of work you pay for when it is out of your hands?

No. Stop making excuses.

I do not know what circumstances this played into. Again, game mechanics are one thing, objects disappearing is another.

I have no problem at all dying to wildlife or other players. Having my boat disappear after a crash is bogus, no matter how you slice it.

It is a bug, but again, this is an Eternal Alpha because it is to be expected to either lose your character to bugs, patches changing stuff that you worked for months, or even complete rerolls on the world.

It's right there, it's the main reason why it's called Eternal Alpha and not "buggy release" or "the game will be finished any time soon". Of course it's a shame to die because of a bug, but there is nothing else to be done: it was warned right before the game was even released.

I guess paying customers get no service unless its getting loved for "I subbed" threads or giving pras for updates.

I think this was clear too. You are not paying for a costumer service or anything like that. You are paying only to be able to play more time than non-paying players, and to support the game. You paying won't mean anything else, at all.

I understand that it sucks, but resurrecting characters is not a reliable process, and may cause all kinds of problems that are far worse.
