Horses can enter caves

Has anyone tried entering a cave located exactly next to shallow water while on a boat?

Plz! Don't Fix that! This is the only way for people to explore caves without pointless fight against 20 bats.

Get armor with 40 deflection and you're immune to bats.

I'd argue horses shouldn't be allowed in caves in the sense that no other animal can be fit down there. Game should follow its own logic.

I don't think its a case of no other animals can fit down there, it's more so that no other animals spawn in there other than bats, I didn't even know that horses could enter caves but I think its a nice feature.

Having horses being able to enter caves isn't exactly game breaking, what's the big deal? other than you have decided this shouldn't be allowed for fuck knows why.

PS, telling people to get 40 deflection to become immune to bats to defend you're "logic" is dumb.

It's not dumb logic. It's how it works. if you want to keep your head stuck up your ass, feel free, but don't complain when someone says what you can do to mitigate bats other than exploiting bugs in the game.

As far as animals in caves, sure, I'm game, but either make sure they can all enter, or none can. Until that point, fix that shit. Fix people not getting hit while riding.

It makes finding cave forageables tons easier. It also means caves aren't a safe escape from mounted PvP combat.

Also, right now, it combines with other horse bugs for more drastic results, for example being able to enter a claimed cave without trespassing (while on a horse).
