Gallery weirdness

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

I've also had this happen on random tiles. Yesterday I mined a corner tile and it revealed every tile down the entire corridor, maybe 15 tiles. Was nice not to have to mine all those useless stones.

Maybe the rock you just mined was supporting a big chunk on top of you that goes all the way over the already cleared area and ends supporting the gallery wall behind you. The moment you break the big chunk's support, it fractures a wall somewhere else.

Ok, sorry, can't really describe what I meant...

But from my understanding, I'd guess that the idea is not really "breaking a wall revealing a gallery behind it" but something more like "breaking a wall might cause a chain reaction that will reveal a gallery nearby, not necessarily next to me".
We need to remember that walls might not be touching but they're still connected by the same ground and ceiling. It's a hole on the ground, after all :P
