Mulberry tree not producing leaves?

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

it's been quite some time now and still nothing. got a couple of trees that aren't spawning leaves.

it's like the other guy said, once they're fully grown they won't spawn leaves anymore.
could it be it doesn't get any decay hits because it's inside a claim?...
should i just chop them and grow new ones?

Nothing new here, I'm afraid. You already give the answers yourself.

so it's intended that they don't grow back leaves after they are fully grown?
or is the answer still "decay, rng, keep waitin'"?

my question is should i keep waiting or just chop them

Only you can make that call. My experience when I tested silk farming on the dev server was that I got a fair amount of tree regeneration, but idk.

it's been definitely more than week now since i noticed this and no leaves at all are growing.
i will keep waiting, but i'm pretty convinced they won't ever grow back.
we'll see, i could be wrong.

If you are playing alone and live at a remote location then you might have to wait a long time. AFAIR decay ticks happen only when map tile is loaded, that's when people are around.

In case they are in an area that is (mostly) always loaded this might work, in case they got put to sleep by the server you can wait forever.

Decay needs to be applied irrelevant of area bring active. Loftar&Jorb, please fix this.

Are you sure decay is not applied to unloaded minimaps? Because stuff decays even on unloaded ones.
