Animals - no CD on initiative attack right after normal

I have an update on the bug. It so happened that I gained more constitution and now survive his onehit KO. And it did it again.

So looks like bear hits through all my shields sometimes without breaking them?

I have parry, quick dodge and shield up on. They all stayed the same?.. or maybe i got scared and refreshed something - I got scared with that hit, but survived and when looked - all my shields were up and fine.


So there could be few possibilities:

1) I refreshed shield up and bear hit right when it was for split moment gone?
2) bear hits with something blue and parry is not blocking that attack.

Hit was for over 300 too. Could anything like this be a possibility?

I will keep testing (after I will heal up) to actually see what the heck is going on

(just to add - it left me with 2 deep cuts 27 and 8 and damaged armor ofc, tell me, please, if there is anything I should check to help)

That sounds very odd indeed. I would love to know what happened.

Sounds more like something that should be clarified via adding a combat log by the devs rather than by people sacrificing good characters to try and figure out with little visual aid other than popping different colored defenses and risking wounds to learn an animal's moves.

Any tips on how to catch bug is welcome

It is random... I don't think I will be able to record every bear fight on video. Though if needed - I will try to.
