I just died from asphyxia while inside a boat.
I found an abandoned boat which was in place that was only accessible by jumping down the cliff into deep water, which required Swimming.
Both my stamina and energy were full.
So I turned swimming on, got into the boat, turned swimming off just in case and started crossing the lake.
Everything was normal, stamina was full.
Then suddenly I noticed yellow '10' numbers ticking above my head really fast.
Could not react quick enough, I was in deep waters anyway.
5 seconds later I'm dead.
Character name was Isaura, if it is of any help.

Thanks for the confirmation fomalsd. Would love steps to reproduce, but will try to look at it regardless.

just climb a ledge and get into a boat, that seems to make the dark magic happen, try not to walk after getting down/up the ledge. ledges seem to be derpy

Right, I realized that the other day but apparently forgot it as quickly again. Thanks!

I recently died in Legacy because my char got out of my boat and swam too far to get back. I had my skill menu up so i didn't notice. I didn't have swimming on, and as soon as i got rid of my skill menu my stamina went to 0 and i died. :|
Total misplay.

With a handful of exceptions, legacy bugs aren't going to get fixed from my understanding. If you run into one that is a serious issue, make a separate thread for it. This, however, isn't a bug, but poor decision making.
