Try it yourself.

that proves only that he didn't sow the grass himself. but he's saying that not only did the grass grow by itself over the natural soil (which you explained), but it also grew over the shallow water tiles. Amanda clearly showed this isn't the case as there's natural soil reaching up to the deep water, which we definitely know doesn't spread.

I'm not saying he is telling the truth about it spreading over water, just that it's impossible for those tiles to have been grassed that closely to the edge. There are still possibilities that he is telling the truth though, such as the natural terrain may have only extended out from the land in a smaller portion and ended up being overtaken. Of course, I don't know for certain.

doesn't fit with his estimate.:P but it could be, yeah. that grassy coastline is strangely straight angled...

He quite clearly says that the pink line represents the coastline prior to the grass tiles spreading, meaning they would have to have covered the water tiles for quite some distance. All I'm saying is that that couldn't have been the case as the pic shows the coastline (the natural terrain) as being further out. The grass then follows that wavy line, except for that strange angled line that Turtlesir points out, maybe the grass just slightly overlays the tiles beneath, idk.

But yes, Kaios, there may be another explanation other than him 'lying', maybe he just couldn't remember exactly where the coastline was ..... I guess we will have to wait for him to come back and respond or someone experiments themselves. :)

maybe something to do with dropping dirt, since it looks like the ledge was modified?

Loftar should take this new discovery and use it to implement bridges ¦]
