Disabling shadows improves my game in 50%. From 8 to 12 fps.

This is the reason why this game is still pre-release actually.

In a big village with at least 60 cows?

not yet but will check when I get to that point.

How ever, I do run multiple clients at once with no issue.

I easly get 60fps on low settings for one client - but for some reason my second drops to 4fps. I have a 970 with 6700k and evo ssd so not a resource issue. What is your trick to get both clients to run at high FPS?

Losing focus drops the FPS to 5 intentionally. There's a command you can type to adjust the background sleep time but I forget it. You could try ":bghz 10" and play around with the number until its right when you tab out of that client.

that's because loftar cap framerate or non-focused clients. there is a coomand line command to disable it, but i do'nt remember it

Like the others have said
there is a cap on Non Active Screen clients.
which will always result in 5fps.

Though I'm not sure why my system runs fine on the clients,
note // my specs are overclocked. And my pc is also over kill
my 4770k sits at 4.0ghz while i have my 980ti overclocked as well.

Software wise I have multiple versions of java installed, I'm not sure if this has any effect.
I also use windows 10 and have disabled a ton of features,
i.e Cortana and any of the crappy stock apps windows 10 gives you upon install.

It also depends on what client you're using I believe.
I've tested multiple clients and found Ambers ran the best for me. Even though it's interface I despise.
