omg you people. All a claim means conceptually is that someone has set up a watch on that area and can track people who go into it or do things in it.

"Tresspassing" on a claim is not an evil, anti-carebear action. All it means is you leave a scent. It shouldn't really be called a criminal action.

IMO keep the change, there is nothing wrong with claiming water.

No-one is saying not to claim water - just to go back to not leaving scents when crossing it in a boat, which is the way it has always been, any scent can be used for tracking which includes the lowly trespass scent.

just saying thanks to jorb, for considering changing it back to no trespass in a boat when crossing a claim while on water.
