Lets think in what cases people can use charter stones :

To trade - can't use their actual explorer/warrior character cuz outlaw, have to use the charisma fresh alt becouse noone will risk trading with their crafter.
To help friends in fight/raid - can't, becouse if you're warrior/raider you probably have the debuff and even if you didn't have outlaw, you will get it and be out for another week.


Making alts for every single thing, Hafen really becomes closer to Salem..

How about when you have outlaw it multiplies the amount of charisma that is needed depending on how much time is left on the outlaw debuff??

or atleast something, this no travel with outlaw is str8 up downs

Salem was one without alts.
Basically ozzy wants to get devs add features so he can kill and raid as much as he can.

I do like that you're trying to give charisma a use but there is too much food that gives solely charisma (sunlit stilton in large amounts) or has charisma tacked on to it that it doesn't become much of a chore to produce an alt capable. If you want players to use real characters, agility is the better way to go in my opinion.

i agree with ozzy here. Such a stupid feature. Makes no sense to build a charterstone now, if you can not even help an allied village.

You haven't played salem right? You needed alt to steal,kill,vandalism n shit becouse the siege system was so bad lol.

Could we perhaps discuss the question on its own merits? Rather than by comparison to some "Salem", by which we (you) apparently simply mean "not to my liking" or, "bad".

1. Outlaw - Seems ok to me. Actually it was never stated that charters will be imba-replacement for all travel systems. If you want to move your warriors fast enough - build some crossroads. This world is smaller, river systems are much better, i cannot understand why do you complain about charters.

2. Charisma - This is interesting, but pointless idea. This will mostly hurt casual players, because i'm pretty sure they will not be able to match CHA requirements for taveling to the trade center charter for example. Hardcore players already have outlaw on their mains OR will not risk their character(=crafter) life, it's simplier for them to make travel alt. I'm pretty sure you can invent some charisma-based mechanics to make it usable, instead of adding CHA reqs here and there

"Oh no I raided some newbs and can't use the charter stone to go help my friends now" is the more likely scenario he's trying to prevent. Saying the mechanic sucks because you can't use it with outlaw debuff on is a weak argument considering it won't effect the majority of players. If you're gonna go back up your allies in a fight before you have scents out it's not like more than one of you has to leave a murder scent anyways. Or at all if you're feeling kind.
