No need to install libjogl those are downloaded automatically by the game client.
Post output from:
Code: Select all
glxinfo | grep OpenGL

And try reinstalling the video drivers:
https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary (not sure how relevant that is, never used Debian or ATI)

PROBLEM SOLVED: I change the title accordingly.
Is there any troubleshooting guide to update?
EDIT: I changed the first post content too, so it is easier to solve this issue.

It works!
"finalizing tileset etc.!" perfect!
There is something strange with my desktop environment (I cannot minimize windows...) but it works! (any help? :P)

Thank you so much romovs for the suggestion and in general all of you gals/guys for the consideration!

Here's what I did.
***
As a test:
> glxinfo
"glxinfo: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Then I followed the guides here:
https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary# ... ary_Driver
https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary#wheezy (for my particular version of Debian)
https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary#configure

After the restart, your desktop environment could change considerably.
Run "autohaven". A sort of will o' wisp appears. :D

Resolved.
