Leaving the claim, or just walking back through the gate that gave you the buff but still being on the claimed area?

You have to do the former to get rid of the debuff.

The claimed area was inside the cave, once you enter the cave you get the buff, but if you leave the cave you keep the buff, even if outside the cave is not claimed anymore

I'm not sure I believe that. If you walk off a claim you should lose the buff.

If it can help, I am still able to do normal things, it's just the icon that didn't disappear, I mean I get the debuff but not its effects
