It wouldn't make sense for some people living next to each other (all having a personal claim) would have the need to scrap their personal claims when erecting a village...

Is it, though? Personal claims have higher authority than village claims currently.

Ahhhh, see this is what I was curious about. I am a member of the village, and it is my personal claim- however is it because I'm not the owner of the village claim that it is causing problems? It'll take a hefty amount of LP to redo my claim, so I want to make sure this is the hypothesis prior to doing so.

Does anyone have personal experience in my specific situation and it still working extending onto a personal claim of a village member(not leader) whose personal claim was up before joining the village? Also technically my personal claim was passed down to a new character as well.

You need to be in a village permissions group that allows you to build personal claims. Your lawspeaker should be able to figure that out.

Right. I am in such a permissions group. Still no workie... Is this a bug?

Edit: One thing is that the original character who created the field claim (now dead) didn't have those permissions. The new inherited character does, however.

Can I get any dev input here? I'm restricted in extending my village which is causing damage to the outer palisade wall which I can't put in claim.
