Maybe the character shouldn't be able to get there in the first place? Not knowing how H&H works, I can only suggest smth like switching or combining bounding boxes.loftar wrote:It's not exactly a bug, it's just less than obvious what the alternative would be.

It's not exactly a bug, it's just less than obvious what the alternative would be.

It should be noted that this always was the historical behavior. It was changed at some point to be more lenient, and was, of course, immediately exploited. Thus, we cannot have nice things.
If anything, I should probably consider implementing a less stochastic placement algorithm, but that is not exactly trivial.
Easy fix: you can't open cupboard if it's hitbox overlaps with another hitbox, but it can be lifted. This way stacked CBs can't be used as quantum storage but accidentally/properly (when abandoned building has decayed) stacked cupboards can be salvaged.
While holding an object that wouldn't fit at the target location (at the place of hearthfire)? I don't see why one should be able to keep the object in such case. If there is no place for the held object, then you teleport without it. With some notification like this: "Attention! Target location doesn't have enough space for the object you hold, so you can't take it with you, the object will be left at your current location if you proceed."loftar wrote:Wouldn't really help, since you could always get to your hearth by fast-travel.
