take out the grasshoppers and other random stuff from inside creel then you can take it off.

Just let creel be dropped to inventory while having something inside. Will this be so much game breaking or OP feature? No, you'll just be able to keep more fishes in cupboard.

The way things like (NOT creels) travelers sacks work is that they just expand your inventory space. If something is occupying those extra rows or columns in your inventory the game considers the (NOT creel) tsack that added those extra rows or columns to be full. It's impossible to find/loot a tsack (NOT creel) with "something inside it".

Admittedly no, I just assumed they worked like tsacks lol

But after reading the wiki about them real quick you still can't put items in it when not equipped, and you can't un-equip without emptying first. Unsure how this could even happen lol

I ran into something like this sometime last world, too, maybe the world before. I fished up a bugged gridiron that couldn't be deployed or anything, it was suggested that it was because it somehow got into my inventory while still containing items.
