That implies that you should also be able to drop it from your cursor to your equipory.

That's a dumb enough opinion I'm just going to assume you're being insincere.

Don't get me wrong, I think coracle mechanics are pretty bad and shoud be on the low/medium priority list of things to change, but nothing about their mechanics RN is inconsistent

If I try to pick up a coracle in the middle of a lake and I have a cape equipped, I can only drop the coracle back in the water (cause it can't go in my inventory, it stays on my cursor). => I drop it back in water and I can get back into it, so I don't die
If I try to pick up a coracle in the middle of a lake and I don't have a cape equipped, the coracle instantly goes into my cape slot. => I can no longer drop it back in water and I die.
I am swimming in both cases.

How is this normal and consistent to you?

I'm not saying the mechanics shouldn't be different, but this particular thing just can't be right.

How is it not. Specify the exact action here that isn't consistent with other mechanics

Are you roleplaying as a 2011 great idea haver, or what?

I'm starting to think you yourself are trying to protect this bug from being fixed for some other reasons.

You completely ignoring my whole argument doesn't mean I didn't prove the inconsistency lmao

You've listed like 15 different interactions here. Be very specify about a single interaction that you think is inconsistent so I can explain why you're wrong
