I had a dugout in my cargo to hunt animals and explore some areas, when they caught up with me (which should not be possible) I couldn't move, so I threw away the key and tried to get the dugout out but I couldn't either, I tried to get off the boat with ctrl click to swim and I couldn't swim, I couldn't use attacks, I couldn't do anything.

You can't swim or use moves while lifting something. Your attacks also didn't work because you locked your snekk and couldn't move to hit a target. Your only blue defense, watch its moves, needs to hit a target.

1. you threw the keys of the currently used snekkja into the water, without which you can't use it
2. then you got the dugout, but couldn't place it BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T MOVE SNEKKJA WITHOUT KEYS
3. and you couldn't swim, because you had dugout in your arms?
