Point for this topic is to see if the game mechanic is intended to allow visitor gate on cave entrance which traps you.
What would happen if the aggro ed characters were not KO-d? ( really asking, would they stay there forever? )

there are dozens of other things you can easily block a cave entrance with, like people have pointed out before, it won't fix anything
everyone is getting hung up about the vgate thing, but this trap could've been set up with anything else that you couldn't quickly break
