- I do agree that checking a cave is a must in a full-loot one-death PvP game.
- I also agree that visitor gates should not be used for combat in any way, their intention is to prevent grief only.
Therefore I believe that there is an issue with possible setting of a trap - be it a cave or any other map instance change, using a vgate.
- It's up for developers to decide how to fix this issue, but a fix is needed.
I would be personally very upset if I would suffer a PvP loss in such an abusive manner - to not be able to retaliate or run away is a terrible, antifun and unintended game mechanic.
It should be also noted that other party was fully aware of the mechanism they were preparing - i.e. that victim would be helpless, waiting to be downed and looted.
A judgement on this case would show devs attitude to general kind of abusing unintentional game mechanic, rather important question for our small and stable community.
As for me - I am a simple guy, voting with my wallet.
I wont use Store until devs make a decision on this, i.e. combat usage of visitor gates.
