I personally like the idea of cha being useful in this situation... Now how it'll play out we'll see.

"Oh no I raided some newbs and can't use the charter stone to go help my friends now" is the more likely scenario he's trying to prevent. If you're gonna go back up your allies in a fight before you have scents out it's not like more than one of you has to leave a murder scent anyways. Or at all if you're feeling kind.


What about "We are at war and had a fight 2 days ago. We managed to kill 2 people And now a couple of people are outlawed and we cant help our allied village, wich is getting attacked atm, because they are blocking crossroads etc."

Yeah, no. My real character will never use a charter stone if its a charisma requirement, that's pretty much just alt territory. Rather not waste my feel good hunger timers on charisma.

Of course, it's totally possible for that circumstance to arise but it's better than having no Charter Stones at all which could have been and may still be an option that's being considered. Apxeolog mentioned quite nicely why outlaw isn't exactly a huge deal regarding this. You have roads and you have rivers.

How about Battery? That's kind of inevitable in combat. I never actually attack people so I'm not 100% sure if it's still in, but if it's still in that would also make you an outlaw.

For me, I'm just annoyed that (once I get my charter stone up) I can't trade without making an alt for it whenever I have committed a crime semi-recently. (Remember: Harvesting someone else's crops stops you from trading for four full days.) I do everything on my main (I currently don't even have alts), and I hated the clumsy w5-w7 trading system with alts.

Fortunately battery doesn't last a week.

In order to trade we will need to make charisma Alts. In order to use the stones to pvp we will need several rage Alts. The game is sounding like Haven and alt. So many steps in a right direction but then a huge kick in the teeth backwards. In order for charter stones to be worth even having in the game one of the mechanics has to go.

I don't know why wouldnt I be unable to port to my friend after let's say being attacked by someone and killing him 5 days ago? That even sounds stupid as hell. If you made it so you need charisma, let us port with outlaw.

And APX, it will be harder for a noob to get 10 metal bars than hunt 2 aurorchs to get charisma.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you will need much more then 2 aurochs. And metal is pretty easy to get now.

Was pretty easy to get in the first days from boulder, now - bats in caves that are bigger danger for noob than aurorch that u can shoot from a bow.
