I feel like they need to take another look at the slime delay.

I think concussions are a bit too harsh in wound magnitude. Or something.
They definitely get in the way of binge playing the game.

It basically forces you to be located near a snow source till you are able to 100% kill (or flee from) everything you get into combat with.

That's a good way to put it. I feel like mechanics that incentivize you to quit playing for a while can be detrimental to the player base. Gotta keep that Skinner box going!

Make slimes slower you can actually escape. Besides, It's totally immersion breaking that they're faster than even bats.

Make ceiling drip ooze if spines can spawn from surrounding tile; frequency of droplets increases with number of slimes that will spawn.

I would suggest to spawn one big, slow but tough one that then, over time, splits into smaller ones.
