no, but you all have me scared somebody stolen our land somehow and its not just broken. so if I turn on criminal acts then nidbanes can be summoned, which cant be fought with my farmer or archer... probably with my miner tho? I am waiting until the rest of the players meet up and seeing if we want to risk it or just call it the end of W12. (tbh)

yes that's all you can do with them though, just get your characters off the claim and move somewhere else, it's really not that big of a deal if you leave trespassing scents and they only last like 8 hours

good information to know. So we definitely don't want to grab any of our stuff on base, we just want to flee and then stay logged off for more than 8 hours to ensure we don't get run into this again. then establish a new base elsewhere.

seriously, if there is anything I am missing let me know. None of us were aware the game played this way.

Last I knew claims cant be traded. please let me know if that mechanic has changed somehow.

if a claims bond of blood & soil is studied for 3 days it transfers ownership to the person that studied it

After giving it some thought....
claims should not be accessible through a character in particular, but only through the claim pole itself.
There should be a security option to allow others to access that part of the claim if you want it trade-able.
Maybe seigecraft requirement if you really intended for them to be stolen.

I'm not sure what you imagined happened, but you can't steal a claim from a character, at least not without knocking him out and taking it from him in that very obvious way, and if the bond is taken that way, you can, again issue a new one from the claim pole, so unless you are entirely passive about it you can't really lose anything by theft. Your claim owner either dropped the bond, and didn't notice that someone was studying it, or gave it away.
