i think the key info is knowing the shortest time a bait is taken from the trap, so one can prospect safer

even tho there's a chance lobsters are like poppy pod, taking longer to show up

There is a long time passed already. Noone of my team or wiki helpers got this(ofc no reports from any chats). And believe me, we tested all that comes to mind - it's bugged or it's too rare spots(than even if it's very good food - whats meaning to catch them with that difficulties) if spots is a thing make them at least noticeable? like lobsters underwater or whatever.
I wonder why jorbtar ignores this. I mention fulgurite before bcs - they show that they have a tool to see that anyone got certain items and can easily check.

Sadly its not the first nor the last time when something is added into the game, and it turns out to be quite useless item.
Devs should implement mechanics to encourage people to eat and study all kinds of things. Bonus if you study something that you have not studied in a long time, cravings for food etc.
